This past Sunday evening I got to hang out with Miss Emersyn. This little cutie will soon be turning six years old, so we celebrated with a fun photo shoot just for her.

Six years ago when here mommy was preparing to have her sweet baby, I was substituting in the public schools of our county. I got the privilege of being her long-term substitute while she was out on maternity leave. During my time there we would find out that we were expecting our first baby, our son, to be born in the fall.

Although we decided I would stay home with our children and I didn’t pursue a career as a teacher, its so amazing how our journey has brought us right back together, allowing me to take her photos 6 years later.
