I love dance. It was probably my first thing that I really loved to do. And I still love to do it. I am currently a dance teacher at a studio in Chesapeake, VA, Maureen’s School of Dance. And I love that job. I love being able to create and share my love of dance with my students.  I don’t really know why it took me so long to start a part of my photography business where I get to photograph amazing and beautiful dancers. I’m calling it the Dana Rae Photography Dancer Project. I’m using fun hashtags like #drpdancers and #drpballerinas and it is so exciting!! I can’t believe it took so long!

These amazing dancers I’ve had the privilege of working with have blown me away. They have been so awesome to work with and have nailed everything I’ve asked them to do. Dancers know just how to pose and hold themselves. You don’t find that in everyone. They possess something deeper, beyond themselves. Dancers are just made to perform.
