I am seriously loving all the beach sessions I’ve had this summer. The beach is seriously my happy place and I love capturing families enjoying all of its wonder!!! And Sandbridge beach in Virginia Beach does not disappoint. I’ve only ever been there a total of four times, two being just this summer. When I got to hang with the Burks and Street families for their beach session while they were vacationing in Sandbridge, it was so much fun. We ended up moving the session up because of possible storms, but the cloud cover gave us plenty of shade.

There were 25 of them all together in one house! I know, wow! That is a lot of folks all together, but they were awesome. They were silly and told funny jokes. And at the end the kids got to let loose and play in the water! They had sandy toes and played in the waves. They salt air is good for the soul and I truly believe it. The beach just has a way of making everything ok. Thank you to these two wonderful families for allowing me to capture some of the fun you had during your vacation to Virginia!
