Back over the winter there was a raffle held to benefit Baby Joshua.  Many of you may know by now is a very special little boy to our family. If you haven’t read his story, check out his mommy’s blog here. We are always looking for new and helpful ways to bless the Buchheit family while they are on this journey to Joshua’s kidney transplant. When we were brainstorming about an auction or raffle I was happy to donate a mini session to the winner.  Well Nicole Britt was that lucky winner. She won a basket full of wonderful goodies including the mini session. We picked a date for warmer weather and met up recently in downtown Franklin for her mini session.

Nicole included in her mini session her boyfriend Clay, his mom Lisa, and his brother Adam. It was a hot summer day, but thankfully we had some shade and were able to finish just as the first clap of thunder sounded as a summer storm rolled in. I had a wonderful time with this crew. Turns out we live right up the road from Lisa and our families know each other really well. It can be so fun living in a small town and getting to find out how you are connected to people you’ve just met.
