Living out in the country can take some getting used to. But once you are used to it, you wouldn’t trade it for anything. We live in a pretty rural part of Virginia and we love it. I was honored to get to work with Katie, her husband Kevin, and Katie’s parents last spring. After having to reschedule during the fall, we met up at Katie and Kevin’s beautiful home in Capron, VA. They live way out where it’s quiet and peaceful, serene.

The weather was perfect and I was so thankful that their family had a perfect evening for the photos. Katie’s parents are so sweet and they were just wonderful to work with. I love capturing photos of families together because I know just how precious these photos are. I know they meant a lot to Katie and her family and it was an honor to be the one to take them.
