So it’s fall here in Virginia, but summer tends to hang on well into October. We are expecting temperatures in the 90s later this week. We have a had a few cool mornings and evenings and pleasant days. Sometimes these are the perfect times to hit the beach after the summer rush.  If you are planning a family beach vacation to Sandbrigdge, you may find that September is the perfect month. You may have to watch the weather, since we do often get hurricanes or remnants of them. Thankfully, Nakia and her family had an absolutely gorgeous week for their family vacation and we had a perfect night for their family photos.

I love that not only did Nakia have photos done of her family, but her parents and even her sweet grandmother Eleanor were there. Four generations is pretty amazing and definitely something to be documented. Not only will these memories be special to everyone there, but they will be special for generations to come. It can definitely be a humbling thought as a photographer when you think about how much these photos mean to a family and how precious these moments truly are.
