Here in Virginia we’ve been on edge in anticipation for Hurricane Florence. Just a few days ago it looked like we were in for it, but now the path is tracking further south and west. Being on the east coast, especially this time of year, the weather can get pretty crazy. Thankfully the last few weeks have been gorgeous. Sarah contacted me to photograph her family while they were visiting their parents in Sandbridge, Virginia. We had a beautiful evening and we had a great time capturing some family memories for their family.

Sandbridge beach is becoming one of my favorite locations to photograph sessions. The beach is gorgeous. They have beautiful dunes and wide beaches. And the sunset makes the skies turn to cotton candy. I’ve gotten to spend this summer and last summer capturing family vacation sessions and it is truly a blessing for me. I love getting to meet these families and photograph them all together while on vacation. So many generations together, I know just how special these memories are and it is truly an honor to be the one to capture them.
