A few weeks ago, I had the honor of capturing the Evans family for the second time, this time at Huntington Beach in Newport News, VA. One of the biggest compliments, and if I’m honest boost in confidence, is having families return to me for sessions. I totally understand when families decide to have another photographer with a different style capture their families in photos. We are all different and offer different experiences. But I love getting to see families time and again and give them better experiences and photos than the last time. I love growing my craft along with these families.

Tina, along with her three children, met me at the beach to capture some family photos. We needed to have a beach with easy wheelchair access for her son Jake. Huntington Beach was perfect and we had great weather too. Jake had some wonderful smiles for his mama. These are probably some of my favorite photos. He just lights up for her and you can’t help but smile yourself when you see his joy. Tina’s two daughters weren’t the biggest fans of the beach, but I think they managed to have some fun too.
