I don’t do many newborn sessions, but when I do they are in-home lifestyle sessions.  I love capturing a new baby with his or her family in their own home. For me, these sessions are just so personal and meaningful being at home.  This way the family can be comfortable and I love capturing memories right where they naturally happen.

When Brandy and Chris said they preferred to have a lifestyle session at their home in Norfolk I was so excited. I just love the natural emotions we captured as they are clearly head-over-heels in love with their new baby girl. The Talkenson’s live in a beautiful home, full of charm, in Norfolk. Little Harper has the cutest nursery, pink and gray are two of my favorite color combinations. Brandy looks so comfortable as a mom and you can tell her and Chris already make a great parent team. Harper definitely has her daddy wrapped around her little finger already. Their sweet fur baby even got in some of the photos. You can tell she is still adjusting to sharing her parents with the new baby. She was such a ham, totally loving all the attention.
