A few weeks ago I had the honor of meeting sweet Baby Harper to capture some photos with a lifestyle newborn session. Cori and her son Hunter welcomed me into their home to meet their newest addition and baby Harper is just so precious. From her gorgeous dark hair to her little rolls, she is the perfect little bundle of joy. Cori’s mom was on hand to help with Mr. Hunter, who is a very active toddler.  She is definitely a wonderful mom and grandma. She was there to help during Cori’s maternity session as well.  This time we were able to grab some sweet photos of this adoring grandmother with her sweet grandchildren.

I love in-home sessions and for me lifestyle newborn sessions are the best. Don’t get me wrong, studio newborn sessions are a work of art. Those photographers are nothing short of miracle workers and they perfect their craft constantly. But I love getting to photograph families in their homes and capture the newest chapter of their lives with a new baby.  Being able to stay in the comfort of your own home and document regular, daily activities is a wonderful way to remember the moments during the first weeks of having your new baby home.

Thank you so much to Cori and Hunter for having me into your home. I loved getting to meet sweet Harper and I know your hearts are so full with your new sweet baby girl. And thank you to Cori’s mom for all her help. You may grow up, but girl’s always need their mamas. 🙂 I’m sure little Harper will know one day how blessed she is to have such a strong and beautiful mom in Cori. Congratulations to you all!
