Last year I had the pleasure of photographing Miss Emersyn in honor of her turning 6. I was so honored when her mama asked me to again capture her celebrating  another trip around the sun. For her 7 year old session we headed out to Fort Boykin Beach in Smithfield, VA. The weather was perfect and by the end of our time together Emersyn was completely soaked. I love the maturity that she exudes but yet she still has so much kid in her. We both had a blast.

It is always an honor to have families return for updated portraits, especially when there are so many talented photographers in our area. I love getting the opportunity to grow with them each time we’re together. It’s amazing to see how much the kids grow and change in a year. Thank you Emersyn for being such a rock star and amazing kid. I had so much fun and it was so great to get my toes in the sand and water for the first time this year!
